Its one of those one’s, i cant tell for definate from the ratings as no one has said it, but it looks like the bottles are carbonated, where as the cask mes had was flat.
I’ll look into it and get back to you later. If you can see anything to confirm this just let me know.

Yes, be careful, the Perry is a rebadge, it was discussed at length on Scoopgen.

Yes Glen, but a re-badge of what, the Westons Perry that I suggested? I checked Scoopgen, but couldn’t find any certainty except people calling it a re-badge.

Ah I see the problem now, is it Original Perry or Herefordshire County Perry, which are also quite likely to be the same thing. The description of the Original is spookily similar to the Farmer Henrys in the pamphlet
Whatever it is, I don’t think we should have a 3rd on our list.

Two of my local Spoons have started refusing 50p CAMRA vouchers as they say the beer is discounted already. Seems like an internal memo has been sent out.
Grumpy’s is still the clear winner for me so far, but I’ve spotted Lees Supernova as a ’coming soon’ and I am ready to pounce!
I enjoyed a lovely fresh and foaming pint of Lancaster Blonde tonight, but was very let down by the (Banks’s) Toshi’s. Considering it’s promising listed hop content, it certainly fails to deliver anything out of the ordinary.
Joke beer of the festival so far? That has to be GK’s Boss Hog. With no mention of brewer or country of origin on the pump clip (other than a deceiving stars and stripes design), I wonder how many unsuspecting punters have been caught out, having heard that there is a rather good american beer in the festival? My brother for one!
On the subject of deception; I hope that you’ve all been following this thread.... http://www.ratebeer.com/forums/fake-beer-engines-in-the-us

Infuriating subject but some classic banter eh?

My best Festival beer so far is RCH Pier Ale.
Not in the fest, but Spoons are promoting ’Lucky Lager’, not the Labatt version, but apparently one brewed in China by Richard Adamson of Barons.
Any ideas if this is really a new beer or just a rebranding of Tsingtao? Thought I’d check before parting with £2-20.
