  nd I specifically mean beers brewed in Germany, not German style pilsners brewed elsewhere. Given that this is ratebeer, I guess I should probably assume that the highest rated examples of the style are also the hoppiest, but I’d appreciate any further insight people might have into the matter. I think the hoppiest I’ve found so far is fresh Jever. Anyways, thanks in advance for your feedback.

I would think that the overwhelming odds are that whatever the beer is, it is only available locally to the brewery and has too few reviews to really show up on the radar here. I’m sure that someone in Germany can be more enlightening.

I know you asked specifically for ones brewed in Germany, but I have to say Victory Harvest Pils, only because of how damn good that brewery is at making that style.

Yup, and the kellerbier is even hoppier. Hoppiest of all might be some of the zoigls like Lingl or Teicher in Neuhaus. Very dry beers.

I love St Georgenbrau Kellerbier here in the states, and I’m sure I’ve only had it marred and mishandled... someday I will go to Franconia... someday.

You’d need to go to germany and have them there to really figure this out. It would be like having the exstremly limited range of british cask ales that make it to america and saying that one of those was your favourate british cask ale.

Never had this beer, but I’d think that no traditional german brewery would hop their Pils to 100 IBUs.. On the other hand, bitter doesn’t equal hoppy.
