Hi

I’ll be in Battle Creek next Sunday for a couple of hours, having checked the Places it seems pretty much everything will be closed! We’re arriving and departing by Amtrak, thought it looked promising with the top places being near the station... d’oh. Is there anything not listed that’s worth a look?

Last resort is we’ll get a taxi to Territorial (guessing a bus is too much to hope for!), but rather find somewhere we can walk to

cheers

Battle Creek sucks these days, both for beer, and overall in general. It’s sad because it used to be a nice city, but those days are long gone. I haven’t been to Territorial, so that’s an option, but I wouldn’t get your hopes up. Given the current economy there, it’s the last place to open up a good brewery.

Cheers. Not the answer I wanted, but kinda what I expected. Well, what I expected once I realised the whole city appears to be closed on Sunday!

If there’s any way you can get over to Bells, Sunday is All Stouts Day and they’ll have some special offerings on all day long.

unlikely, but possible. Any idea how much a taxi would be from Battle Creek to Kalamazoo? or is there a bus other than Greyhound (which we’ll miss)

Not sure, but I’d go with Uber, and order it shortly before you arrive so it’s there when you do. It’ll be cheaper and quicker.
