I honestly doubt that tickers (meaning essentially RB & BA people) constitute all that much of those purchasing the $20+ regular releases. Sure, maybe for a one-off brewery only release you’ll get a higher concentration of them, but we really are a vocal minority amongst the craft beer buying crowd.

Towards whom do you think these breweries market this stuff?

The same people who buy it.

Tickers.

Not the general public.

What is with the attitude? The name of this site is Ratebeer. No one is criticizing you for having no ratings.

Cantillon isn’t for the "general public," whatever that means. Neither is a $10 St. Bernardus, or a $15 dollar six pack of Expedition.

This is a hobby that attracts people who want to try something new, some of the new things have a ridiculous price tag but you sound like a jerk the way you call everyone a ticker.

Did I now?

Please re-read my statements for content and clarity.

Larry Bell’s worst nightmare.

Fixed that for ya.
and I’m buying bells at $7-$10 a six pack so life is good. It would be better if I could get something over 6% abv from them round these parts but apparentley Larry told the Iowa Alcoholic Bevrages Division to fuck off, and rightfully so.
