December 6, 2009 This is a small tasting room adjacent to the brewing facility. The place is new and spartan with white walls and benches with a tiny little bar. I believe the maximum occupancy is less than 50. I liked the efficiency of the set up and the fellow behind the bar was nice. Beer is available in a variety of sizes, I opted for the 11 oz. pour, but there are plenty larger and smaller. I was not very crazy about the beer, however. True, it is unfair that they only brew light-bodied session beers and it was 30 degrees outside and I was craving some roasty stouts. But, that aside, the wit beer I tried did not agree with me. The pale ale was pretty good on the other hand, but it didn’t pique my curiosity enough to really seek out more Craggie varieties. I’m not sure If I’ll be back solely because of the lack of beer which interests me. |
