Dec 5, 2009 330 ml bottle. Black with reddish hues. Medium-sized fine laced off-white head. Acetaldehyde aroma with red berries and caramel. Smooth texture. Hints of higher alcohols. Lots of sweetness in here. And apples. There’s enough hop bitterness to balance out most of the sweets, so the beer feels nicely balanced. Except for all the acetaldehyde, which indicates a fermentation issue. Anyway, it’s a decent double bock.

Nov 29, 2009 Bottle @ Cardinal. Pours deep red mahogny with a small creamy head. Aroma of sweet caramel, roasted malt and nuts. Taste is light sweet, plums, raisins and spicy alcohol, good one.

Oct 11, 2009 Clear dark amber with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and dark fruits. Flavour was quite strong and had roasted malt, caramel, dark fruits and chocolate. Somewhat boozy but nice.

Jul 21, 2009 Pours reddish brown with a small head.Aroma of alcohol , even some higher alcohols ,hints of nail polish.With a big malty backbone.Some dried fruits too.Tastes malty with some spiciness, faint grass.Medium to full bodied. Not bad at all.

May 19, 2009 Bottle. High fluffy but lasting light brown head. Clear dark ruby body. Sweet spicy caramel roasted malt aroma. Very sweet roasted barley malt with caramel liquorice and a spicy note. Alcohol well hidden. Low carbonation. Long sweet aftertaste.
