Acetaldehyde aroma with red berries and caramel. Smooth texture. Hints of higher alcohols. Lots of sweetness in here. And apples. There’s enough hop bitterness to balance out most of the sweets, so the beer feels nicely balanced. Except for all the acetaldehyde, which indicates a fermentation issue. Anyway, it’s a decent double bock. gunnar (600), Sandnes, Norway
