Clear golden yellow pour topped by a frothy white head.Light, malt sweet aroma. Flavor is sweet and has a bitterness that stays on the mouth. Grassy. Mouthfeel is light. quite distinct carbonation. An OK pilsner.

500ml can. A bit more than the average pilsner with golden color and white head. Better than most Norwegian standard commercial pilsner.

4.5% bottle swigged with Dirtman in Vigeland Sculpture Park. BREAKIN’ THE LAW, BREAKIN’ THE LAW. Appearance? Some ruddy-cheeked peasants frolicking in the straw on the label. Crisp and clean with a lingering, slightly nutty bitterness, vanilla, Weetabix and corn. Decent grassy, lemony hop- something of a surprise. Fresh and pleasant park bench refreshment, 13 NOK a bottle. You won’t find a cheaper rate in Oslo, unless you steal it.

Pale yellow, 1cm bubbly head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is sparse grassy and metallic hops. Flavour is much the same, good grassy hop bitterness minus the metallic notes. Some vague malt sweetness. Fizzy carbonation. Thin. One of the best macro lagers.

(Can, BB 01/2009, alc. 4.7%). "Original pilsner". Pale yellow color, decent white head. Grassy hoppy raw apple aroma. Fizzy carbonation. Saaz-hoppy flavor with harsh papery maltyness and thin body. At least this is hoppy enough for being called "pilsener".

Canned (ABV 4.7%, thanks yngwie). Golden colour, mediumsized white fluffy head, some slight lace. Aroma is melted rubber/plastic along with some hops and malts. Flavour is harsh rubbery grass along with some mild unpleasant earthy notes. Harsh.
