MesandSim (4723), Highgate, Greater London, England Jan 8, 2009 A Mes rate. Another bottle that I have to give a big thanks to Caspar for. As per the regular, it’s a hazy amber brown with a tight beige head. The aroma and flavour are also like the regular but with cheesey funky knobs on. Damn it’s good. Slight coconut and wood from the barrel along with hints of vanilla and a slight smoky note. The characteristic stamp of each brewer is again, quite clear but this time the barrel aging has married them much more cleaner. The finish is utterly sublime. All of the malt and hop assault of the regular but with a glorious smoky development that goes on and on and forces you to take time and consider each sip. This is absolutely fantastic. Thanks again Caspar. Marthinus (100), Denmark Jan 4, 2009 Amber colured, rich in taste, malty, caramel, whisky and strong alcoholic sense. Botlle onystrom (567), Skanderborg, Denmark Jan 3, 2009 Great hazy dark amber color with okeay head. Burnt malt and sweet flavour....... FrankJohansen (2923), Sabro, Denmark Jan 3, 2009 Bottle.
