Commercial Description:

Bottled. The aroma has fruitiness, some caramel malts. Little hazy, amber coloured beer with a white head. The taste is bitter bit sweet, earty yeast, grapefruits and berries. Some maltiness. OKay.

Bottle. Reddish amber color. Malt, toffee and strawberry jam in the aroma. Sweetish, but also earthy bitter flavor with red berries. Earthy, slightly oily yeasty aftertaste with red berries and a hint of grapefruit.

It’s hazy bronze with a huge, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of spruce, fruit, caramel and berries. The flavor has a moderate sweetness and notes of fruit, orange citrus, light spruce, caramel and the overall impression is a smooth and delicious beer with a nice dry and rather bitter finish.

(Bottle at Pikkulintu, Helsinki) Poured red and hazy with medium sized and lightly tan coloured head. Aroma was of quite grassy hops with malty notes. Medium bodied palate with medium carbonation. Flavours found were malts, hops, fruitiness, bitterness and light sweetness. Malty and hoppy aftertaste.

Bottle 50 cl. Huge thick beige head that mostly lasted. Excellent display of lacework. Cloudy amber color. Aroma of grapefruit, pine like, peach, citrus, toasted malt, yeast. Over the palate came surprisingly smooth malty and yet dry feel from the hops. Quite full bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Heavy bitter and sweet flavor in balance. Lingering citrus floral finish. Yum yum.

Bottled (batch #189, BB 12/2010)
Amber, a bit hazy color, medium-sized steady off-white head. Yeasty-hoppy nose with some sugar/caramel. Quite sweet, fruit sugars, berries, some hops, hop juice. Odd mix of caramel and hops. Red Ale ...
