Golden white pour hazy bananas and clove in the taste with some vanilla was decent if you can deal with a good amount of clove flavor in the taste. A very good brew.

on tap-pours an off white head and cloudy yellow color. Aroma is fruity, banana, wheat, some clove, creamy. Taste is banana, wheat, yeast, a bit thin. Minimum/no carbonation.

On tap at the BBW Brew Pub and listed as just ’Hefeweizen’. Poured a medium to deeper and cloudy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Served in a .5L Hefe glass with a slice of lemon. Aromas of lemons, bananas, cloves, ’sweaty’ wheat and a trace of bubble gum. Tastes of citrus, lighter bananas, and lighter cloves. Thirst quenching on this hot day.

Tap. Yellow cloudy color. Aroma is of lemon and banana. Odd mix that just wasn’t quite balanced. The spice flavors were present but kind of weak.

On tap at the brewpub, July 2006. Pale and cloudy. Light, clean and lemony. Subtle spice and apple notes also come through on the palate. No great depth of flavour but refreshing enough. OK, but not very German in style - I struggled to get any banana or cloves to speak of. More Belgian Wit if anything.

Pours a cloudy darker golden with a very small bubbly white head that went away very quickly. Served at the brewpub with a slice of lemon. Aroma of clove, lemon, yeast and banana. Flavor of banana, clove, wheat as well as some...you guessed it lemon. I have much better Hefes.

based on appearance, i would have thought this was more of a wit than a heffe..the head faded away very quickly, and the nose was very sweet, filled with orange and grapefruit. the flavore was lacking in the malt department, and the sweetness of the wheat wasnt very pronounced, giving this a very thin feel. the aftertaste was very sweet, almost cloying, filled with the orange tastes from the nose. again, not what i was looking for in a hefe.

Pretty decent hefeweizen. Looked great. nice and cloudy pale colour. Not much of an aroma. Had a nice banana taste and went down really nice.
