Commercial Description:
This unfiltered belgian style wheat beer is brewed with special yeast that creates refreshing flavor and texture. Brewed with chamomile, curacao, orange peel and coriander to create a smooth citrus finish. Usaully enjoyed with a slice of lemon.

Tap (part of sampler) Pours a hazy golden yellow with a nice sized bubbly white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus and wheat. Tart. Dry. Relatively crisp. Refreshing and very drinkable.

I think I’m finally starting to like this style, although I can’t justify giving it all that high of a score yet. But I think I’m turning the corner on the witbier style and starting to like it. The last few I’ve had, including this one, have been delicious and refreshing. This beer starts off with a cloudy pour of light gold and a big white head. The nose still features what I smell when I walk into the produce aisle at the supermarket. Some of the flavors are of the same characteristics, but with a light and refreshing citrusy flavor. I can taste lemon, orange and coriander in the body. I think it is a style that I need to get more samples in on. Like I said, I think I’m really starting to like witbiers.

Ah, I remember the days when I was the leading rater for this place. But, then I moved away and Brew Works got a new brewer, giving those who remained nearby the chance to rack up tons of new ratings. I was here over the weekend with V for the first time in about 1.5 years. It was as glorious as ever. This beer was OK.

Draft. Cloudy golden yellow body with thin head. Aroma is spices, yeast. Flavor is yeasty, spices. The corriander came off a bit too strong.
