On draught at the Big River Brewpub south of Vancouver, BC. Pours a clear golden pale brew with a creamy off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin ring and some spotty lacing. Aroma of caramel and munich malts, a touch of apple, some flowery hops and some roasted nuts. Taste is medium bodied, malty, with a hint of citrus. Finish is semi-sweet with a caramel malt aftertaste with some mild bitterness and light alcohol presence.

Draught at the brewpub
Deep blond color, creamy head; very pale for a Vienna. The aroma is not nice, dirty water, plastic. It has a quite smooth mouthfeel, some nutty malt flavor, but unfortunately again this impression of dirty water, cabbage... Something is wrong here.

(Draught) Sampled on November 23rd, 2006 at the brewpub. Foamy thin white head with a low carbonated, orange amber body. Nose of biscuit and a mild English hops. Flavour is nicely malted. Good.

Golden colour, thin white head. Pale malt aroma, light caramel, and faint bitterness. Thin body. Well-made, no defects, just really boring.

Dark golden body with minimal white head. Aroma is malty with a little hops. Flavour is malty with some sweetness (toffee) with a nice touch of bitterness. A little thin but overall not bad.
