Pours hazy amber with a small, fizzy, white head, mostly diminishing with spare lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, cereal, meal), light hops (flowers, grass), average yeast (sweat) with notes of pear and butter. Light bodied, gritty texture, average carbonation, and an astringent finish. Aroma with hints of malt and hops. Flavor is mostly malt with noticeable pine hops. SkyinBrian (403), Collinsville, Illinois, USA May 16, 2008 My first visit to Buffalo brewing and I ended up downing two frosty tumblers of this (and by frosty I mean my glass actuall must have come out of the cooler) no worries though, it wasn’t frozen enough to adversly effect this ruby medium bodied delightfully hoppy red. pretty darn good.
