Commercial Description:
Chimay Blanche (White), with its typical golden colour, its slightly hazy appearance and its fine head is especially characterised by its aroma which results from an agreeable combination of fresh hops and yeast. The beer's flavour, as sensed in the mouth, comes from the smell of hops: above all it is the fruity notes of muscat and raisins that give this beer a particularly attractive aroma. The aroma complements the touch of bitterness. There is no acidity, but an after-bitterness which melts in the mouth. This top fermented Trappist beer, refermented in the bottle, is not pasteurised.

Bottle. Pours completely opaque golden brown with plenty of long lasting foam. Flavor of sweet candy sugar with a bready aspect, a little spiciness, some sour citrus notes, and a dry bitter finish.

Dark hazy orange coloured with a huge dense head on top. Aroma is sharp hops and alcohol. Flavour is light caramell, grassy sharp hops and some alcohol. Somewhat phenolic and harsh but still refreshing and drinkable on a summer day. Body has a very lively, close to harsh carbonation and the beer ends on a dry and grassy note with light lingering caramell.

Pours a hazy golden with a giant white head, tiny bits in suspension, looks quite viscous, significant lacing... Aroma is dominated by belgian yeast, with notes of apple, bubblegum... Flavor follows complexly with notes of vanilla, yeast, fruits... Very creamy, with a dry finish...

Bottled, golden pour with thick white head, big aras of bread/yeast sweet fruits with slight grassy background, slight malt sweetness with bigger then expected floral hops with lingering sweet fruits with a hint of alcohol warmth

Lovely golden amber colored liquid. Nice two-finger foamy white head. Okay retention and some quite decent lacing. Bananas. Powerful smell of bananas strikes first. Nice caramely malt scent. Earthy yeastiness. Slight spiciness to it. Pan-fried bananas with carmelized brown sugar and hints of clove and corriander. Nice yeasty bread notes. Roasted malt notes make a slight appearance. Good creamy smooth feeling in the mouth. Very good carbonation level. Nice tiny little bubbles that dance over your tongue and down your throat. With the alcohol so well hidden, this is an excellently drinkable brew. Nice and easy.

Aromas of corianer, anise, white pepper, orange. Metallic, wet blanket yeast. Some bready, butterscotch malts. Flavor starts with big spicy anise dominatation followed by a yeast explosion. Builds to a sour, bitter climax with smoother fruity malt notes in the finish. A Very pleasant and complex brew. Some burnt wood, molasses notes in there as well. The texture is well carbed but pleasant, with a good amount of pucker. The finish is light and dry.

Hazy golden yellow beer with fine white mousse. Aroma is slight peppery with hints of malts and some yeast. Taste is bready, cereals and some refreshing hops. aftertaste is nice with a bready malty feeling and ends with a good touch of hop.
