Commercial Description:
When the British introduced draught pale ale to America, the Pipe Organ Pale Ale is what they had intended. It is truly British in character. Brewed with pale ale malt and a touch of caramel malt, it has a light copper color and subtle body. The maltiness is carefully balanced with only the best English hops - East Kent Goldings. Although this beer has a fair amount of hops, the caramel maltiness perfectly balances its profile.

VRBT. Light orange. Faint grapefruit aroma. I must admit, the flavor on this one really stood out. Vague malt sweetness, but then a distinct oregano note with the hops. Just strange, I cannot say I ever got that with EKG before. Probably would work with pizza.

Golden beer with white head. Nice malt sweetness dominates with a bit of hop flavor lingering. Would make a good session beer. Not a big beer but sometimes you need to come up for air.

Bottle shared at SL. Pour was golden/pale colored, typical initial head and lacing, a nice cleanup to a couple earlier sloppy brews. Aroma was citrus and lightly piney hops and something somewhat styrofoamy smelling. The flavor followed the aroma with almost a pilsner like character (related to malt selection or maybe just a noble hop selection?) and no off flavors in this one like the aroma. OK stuff.

Draft at brewpub. Light amber body, slight hops in nose, smallish head. Slightly fruity, slightly herbal/spicy, some bready notes, decent.

bottle- undoubtedly infected- inappropriate clove/bananna flavors with darkening in the cap- not a bit of a pale ale in there. unfortunate- would try fresh.
