Nov 26, 2009 750ml courtesy of TheCheeseMan and Daknole. Pours dark murky brown with a thick 3 finger light tan head that lasted. The nose is cocoa, fruit, toasted nuts and caramel. The taste is burnt chocolate, dark fruit, roasted nuts and coffee with some hops in the finish. Medium mouthfeel. Good beer. Thanks for sending this one my way gentlemen! Glad I have another to enjoy.

Nov 26, 2009 Bottle. Pours a dark brune body with a tan head. Malty chocolate and nutty tones. Some light fruit esters amongst a mild etoh warming. Milky brune with a chalky chocolate warming and a light wooden note. Nice ale.

Nov 18, 2009 750 ml bottle via trade with smith4498 - Pours a hazy brown color with a one finger thick light tan head. Light lacing. Aroma is toasted malt, and light chocolate and nuts. Flavor is lightly sweetened toasted malt and light chocolate with a hint of spice in there. Finish is fairly smooth a easy to drink. Medium body. Alcohol is nicely hidden. A very nice beer.
