Aug 20, 2009 (Growler, courtesy of JohnC) Pours a deep mahogany body with medium off-white head. Aroma of roasted grain, nuts, and cocoa. Flavor of nuts, caramel malt, grass, vanilla, and roasted grain with a dry finish.

Jul 25, 2009 Pours a cola brown. Nose is heavy rich chocolate, roasted grains, sweet malt. Taste is hot chocolate, sweet caramel, toffee and earth. Very nice!

Jul 22, 2009 Growler shared by GoT @ otakuden’s Vero Beach Throwdown. Pours clear brown color with tan head. Toasted malt aroma with some cocoa. Flavors of toasted malts, cocoa, vanilla and some nuttiness. Medium body with average carbonation. A very nice brown ale.

Jul 21, 2009 Stratford tasting @ Cletus house. Pours an orange brown body with an off white head. Nutty roasted malt, coco, earthy undertones and a thing spicy finish. Nice brew.
