Pours a cloudy orange-gold with a small, fizzy off-white head. Spicy aroma, with notes of coriander, ginger, pepper, hops, citrus, and yeast. The flavor is also spicy, with more of the same, leaning toward the ginger and pepper. Spicy, malty mouthfeel, light-medium bodied, and peppery and gingery finish. Interesting, if imperfect, beer, and I’m surprised to see so many people bombing it on here. Toxygen (396), Sanford, Florida, USA

hzy-stw, ^witbierish, ^guava(maybe passionfruit too), malts and hops are negligable, pretty good as apertif or with the right seafood or chicken dish.
according to “Speaking of Beer” interview with Zack Davis: this is the only white lager brewed in the US (as of May 2009); brewed with corriander, orange peel, fennel, and ginger. anders37 (4796), Malmö, Sweden

Has a fruity spicy aroma with some grainy hints and some weak hints of citrus. Sweetish malty spicy flavor. Has a sweetish malty spicy finish with hints of citrus in the aftertaste. 5000 (2641), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 16, 2009 Bottle:   Whitish yellow in color, very thick and hazy, moderate frothy white head, spotty lacing.   Artificial lemon zest aroma, slightly peppery.   Very zesty on the tongue.   Almost medicinal in its flavor.   Somewhat similar to a Witbier but not as spicy.   It seems a bit muted and/or dull.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Citrus zest on the finish.   Not a bad beer at all, spices are there but are somewhat dull.   Would certainly make for a decent summer quaffer.

Thought from the name it may be a witbier, it labels itself as a Spice/herb beer, but I just tasted what seemed to resemble an offshoot from a BMC....a lot of grain, little aroma or taste, and a short, non-memorable finish.
