(bottle, 4.4% abv) Clear, amber colour with a copper shine and a small but dense, slightly tanned foamy head. Slightly sweet cara-malty aroma with citric and woody hops. Mildly bitter flavour with a tinge of acidity, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Cara-malty, slightly fruity taste; dry and mildly bitter finish with fruity and woody hops. 13.XII.09

Very drinkable - hoppy, balanced bitter. I like Copper Dragon ales though and this didn’t disappoint.

Cask, Plasterers Arms, Hoylake. Coppery tinged dark gold colour. Some grassy hop in the aroma but pretty restrained and not much leaping out. Rather dull caramel malt flavour. Thinnish and a bit watery. Yawnsville.

Bottle, thx to tarjei. It pours a cute clear, golden body under a minimal off-white head. Biscuity malts and fruityness on the nose, with a touch of butterscotch. Sweet, biscuity malts in the mouth too, also a hint of butterscotch, with fruity hops giving some balance. Full-bodied. Sweet, fruity and bitter finish. A really pleasant one, at least on the quaffable side. A beer I could drink all night. (090116)

Bottle from Centra. Lovely copper. Fine balance, a beer with body and bite, yet very quaffable. I’ll buy more of this!

500 ml bottle. Light copper colour. Crystal clear. Medium-sized mixed white head that clings to the glass. Caramel malt aroma. Watery mouthfeel initially then a little prickly hop bitterness. Oily malt flavours. A little bit of caramel and melanoidins from something like münchener malt. Light-bodied. Finishes with a watery aftertaste. Leaves a silky mouthfeel. Not my favourite.

500 ml bottle, 4.4% abv. Good-looking, mostely lasting offwhite cream head. Bright amber colored body. Light caramellish malts and canned fruits to the nose. Some pepper notes and a hint of nuts. Taste is medium sweet and rich malty. Suggestions of cream-caramel and dark fruits. Relatively mild bitterness. Medium to light body. Crisp, but kind of water-ish mouthfeel. Dry fruity and malty finish.
