33 cl bottle, ’bbe’ Jan 2011. Slightly hazy coppery body and a big, fluffy head. Well present aroma of hops with some dark fruit jam in the background. The same notes in the taste. Hoppy finish and a sharp, herbal aftertaste with a solid body. Somehow, this beer makes me immediately think of autumn (maybe it’s just the weather outside...).

Bottle from Bierkoning. Nice caramel body with rocky head. Sweet nose of caramel and malts. Sweet and flowery flavour. Nice spicyness too. Some citrus with bitterness kicking in at the end. Smooth finish.

Bottle. Orange golden color. Soft flowery hops, malt and stones in the aroma. Citrus in the slightly tart, flowery flavor. Apricot, pepper, even a bit of alcohol. Fruity but fairly dry. Very well brewed and well balanced, actually.

Huge, towering thick off-white head, leaving lace over copper-coloured, clear beer. Parsley, lightly coloured malts; aroma like sportshoe soles (sorry). More parsley, ambrée malt, hint at coriander, or other spices, old bread. Some breadbaking flavour retronasal. Very spritzy MF, bit dead, medium bodied all the same. Oh dear. I wonder what I like least - Du Bocq or Corsendonk/Keersmaekers. Even trying hard, I cannot find any yeast herein. I really wonder about the claimed "refermentation"...

A 33cl. bottle, very nice shaped. The Beer is made to honor the Nights of the middleage. Very tasty, dark amber color, a caramelish aroma with a scent of hops. Bitter Belgian Ale with a dry finish.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Mild yeasty and caramelish aroma, light hoppy floral note. Dry, bitter and mild yeasty mellow spiced. Bitter and quite dry finish. Nice and smooth classic Belgian.

Darker amber coloured beer, lots of carbonation and an average off-white head. Fruity grassy hoppy aroma with a medium to full palate. Finish is light bitter fruity touched with a longer dry bitter ending. Not bad, but I expected more out of this.
