Pours nice golden yellow with a medium sized, mostly lasting head and nice lacing. The flavour has a light sweetness to it and a nice, medium bitterness afterwards. The palate starts off with a medium body, ending slightly watery. Carbonation is average, borderline soft. It has some notes of citrus and cereal in the aroma. A refreshing and quenching pilsener on a hot summers eve. Moderate/fairly average bitterness. Could have had a more malty finish. Personally this is my favourite mass produced norwegian pilsner. It is probably far too watered down and bland for most of the RateBeer folk, but if you’re just looking for something cold, refreshing and very easily drinkable in the summertime, then I’ve found this to be pretty decent. Don’t expect microbrewery quality of course. It’s good for a mass produced beer, but not much more. mjs (1550), Helsinki, Finland
