Bottle from Bierkoning. Nice dark orange body with huge head. Spicy and hoppy nose. Taste of oranges, citrus and hops. Quite yummy. Dry finish.

At an slijterij in makado centrum purmerend, now the bottle again says lots of the beemster (an unesco part of north-holland) much about the beemster culture of the beer, but its most of touristc propaganda. To the belgian brewer: dark golden, foamy lasting head, nice full crispy hoppy blond, with hands of spices, and a dry after.,..Nice one

(Bottled) Hazy yellow-golden with a small, bubbly head. Lemony-herby, crisp aroma, somewhat like the memory I have of the Cannabia, but with orangey fruitiness. Quite crisp and lemony-fruity flavor with some acidity and sweetness. Dry and bitter finish, though. Medium body with medium carbonation. Slightly too acidic for me, but otherwise a quite bearable, dry and bitter blonde.

Bottled. Hazy dark golden with a creamy white foam. Sursprisingly flowery aroma with notes of oranges, passionfruit and yeast. Yeasty flavour of white bread and banana with perfumy undertones of flowers. Medium bodied with a strong carbonation. Medium-bitter finish of orange-peels, hay and yeast.

Hazy yellow, foamy thin white head. Neat yeasty, floral, alcohol aroma. OK taste - so much yeast, lemon, sweet, yet off and funky - this was a pretty old bottle. Not to bad, I liked it.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry & tupalev. Best before 20.11.04. Pours a very cloudy pale gold with lots of huge chunks and floaties and a small lasting white head. Aroma of tomato juice (!), caramel malt and...I don’t know, I don’t like it though. Flavour’s not as bad, it’s yeasty with some spices and alcohol -- still tastes a bit weird. Medium to full bodied. Not sure if it’s the age of the bottle but this sure was an odd one. Thanks R.!
