Commercial Description:
50% barley, 50% wheat slightly dryhopped with Amarillo made with the German Weihenstephan yeast. Pineapple, pear and tangerine in the flavor. The fruit almost makes you forget that this beer is well hopped with flowery and citric hops. More hops in the aftertaste, with notes of banana and fresh cheese.

27-NOV-2009, bottle @home. I did not read about this beer before tasting it. I had no Idea that it is a weizenbock, and I was somewhat confused regarding the style. It is very hazy golden with a slight orange, and a very nice high white head. The nose is hoppy bitterness, but also some hay-like stuff, and yeast. My first guess is IPA, but then I read about it here on Ratebeer, and I now see my mistake. And now I can see that there are som yeasty, banana, fruitry things under the hops. Very creamy with nice carbonation. I actually like this a lot. I guess it is not very true to style, but I also guess that it is intentional. Nice beer.
