SHIG (1731), Oberoffligen, Germany Jan 2, 2009 Bottle: Poured a reddish chocolate brown with a huge tan color long lasting head. Aroma is yeast and spice. Flavor is rich chalky caramel malt, roasted or smokeness as well, and a hint of fruit at the end. Leaves a dry spice finish. Warms the core for sure. yespr (8540), Copenhagen O, Denmark Nov 27, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours unclear and brown with a slowly collapsing light tan head. Mild spiced and slight off aroma. Flavour is dry to sweet malty. Light spiced. Mild estery and fruity. Smooth fruity and caramel malty finish. Maria (4973), Thisted, Denmark Nov 19, 2008 Courtesy of Fonefan. It’s a red mahogany color and the head is huge, creamy, lasting and a solid island of foam stands on the surface for a long time. The aroma has notes of coriander, yeast and peat. The flavour has sweetness and notes of roasted malt, hints of smoke, fruit, coriander, citrus and it’s ends with a little sharpness on a spicy, yeasty and citrussy note.
