Bottle. Cloudy yellow colur with a big white head. Aroma and taste of fresh citrus, coriander and a touch of mint. Very fresh spanish version of wit. Short sweet and fresh finish. Would love it along with a plate of mussels. Nice one.

.5 L bottle directly from Barcelona. Appearance is great, small creamy, frothy white excellent lacing head with short life. Body hue orange yellow reminds me of blue moon. Smells like Belgian yeast, banana and orange with a spice I can’t put my finger on, probably because I’m smelling the yeastyness. Flavor is nothing special. Maybe I don’t have a pallet for the Belgian yeast beers, but it is very light and little hops finish, a smooth and carbonation tinge on the tongue finish. Light body finish, watery, lively carbonation very smooth finish. Yeast sediment on bottom of bottle, not a bad beer, expecting more.

Rather dissappointing, considering that it’s announced as one of the finest beers in spain, created by Ferran Adria. Soft aroma, with very distinct traces of wheat, and some citrus hops. Once in palate, the citrus taste becomes closer to lemon peel and some spices, but it’s still very similar to a hefe weizen. Their reccomendation is to drink it cold, but if you do, you lose all this notes, so it’s contradictory. In their web site they talk about the complexity of aromas and flavors, but I couln’t find them. Also, the alcohol level is really low for a beer that’s supposed to be that complex. On the other hand, If you consider that Damm brewery is a macro lager producer, this is a great bear, but in a very different category.

Huge, dense yellowish head over fully hazy apricot-coloured beer. Coriander³ and marzipan, cookies, ad nauseam. Sweet, marzipan and of course coirander, getting some citrus, with sweet-soft gingerbread. But horror, each new sip gives a whiff of chlorine!! Light, slightly velvety texture, wheat slickness. OK, I didn’t sample it accompanying an espuma, but I still refuse to think that this is the thing to convert winedrinkers to gastronomic beeradventures. I’m glad El Bulli has taken this stance, but the result is... dubious.

Poured a slightly hazy light orange color. Light fruity aroma along with some yeast. Tart citrus flavor. Finished a bit thin. Not a bad beer, but not worthy of the hefty price tag.

Bottle… Lightly hazed yellow ale with a mid-sized, fluffy, white head. Fantastic retention. Yeasty, grainy aroma with a note of warm perspiration. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Lightly sweet, bready, grainy flavor. I’m not picking up any spices or fruit peels. Crisp, refreshing finish.
