On tap at The Frog & Rosbif, Paris. Cloudy yellow, small white head. Sour fruit, spices and grainy aroma. Quitegrainy and slightly sour flavours, balancedby dry spiciness. A grainy wit it is.

Hazy gold, no head. Pedio flaws in aroma but a generally bland slightly citrusy aroma. Good carbonation level. Up front citrus in the flavors. Wants to be refreshing but ends up powerfully unsatisfying and even becomes hard to get through especially as the aromas come out more when it warms.

Watery lookin hazy dull, pale yellow. Footy, pedio aroma. Yikes. Very orangey, thin, fizzy. Has some refreshment value and I like the assertive orange notes but it’s far too thin and lacking good wheat character.

Pression at The Frog & Rosbif, Rue de St Denis, Paris as Maison Blanche. Cloudy yellow with white head. Initial sulphery note then a sharp lemony, peel, clove beer. Thin wheaty flavours with a sweet close. Not really to my taste.

Draught, 4.2% at the Frog and Princess as Maison Blanche. No aroma. Cloudy pale yellow colour. The flavour is a little more interesting, it has some clove and lemon. Good mouthfeel. Slightly sweet, though. Hint of butter in the finish.

From tap at the brewpub as Maison Blanche. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is coriander spiced and light citric with a classic wheat note. Mild wheaty and spiced flavoured. Smooth and light citric into the finish. Smooth and clean.

Cloudy yellowish beer, soft lemony nose. Flavor is tart and lemony with a very lively mouthfeel, leading to an impression of lemon soda pop. Refreshing and non-sweet but some beerier flavors would have been welcome.
