My favourite of the bunch, but that is not saying much. Warming ginger, on top of a rather thin beer. But it was the only one I bothered to order a pint of!

Sep 15, 2009 On tap at The Frog & Rosbif, Paris. Hazy amber, small head. Quite fruity aroma. Very much ginger in the mouth, little bitterness. A bit one-dimensional.

May 7, 2009 Cask at the F&B in Paris. Amber gold color with a creamy beige head. Smells like ginger. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is mild caramel with a largish dose of ginger. Bet this would be great with sushi! I love ginger.

Jan 11, 2009 Draught, 4.2% at the Frog and Princess. Good ginger aroma. Clear yellow colour. The flavour has a mild ginger note. It is detectable, but not very powerful. Apart from the ginger, it is a lot like a standard low-flavour lager.

Oct 20, 2008 From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear yellow with little white head. Aroma is ginger citric and biting yet also butterish, solid. Ginger and butterish flavoured. Not good. Ends with a fat butterish feel and flavour with citric ginger into the far finish.

May 16, 2007 Draft at the Frog & Princess in Paris. Poured a clear orange color. Head was white and left a little lace behind. Distinct, but subdued ginger aroma and flavor with a light citrus malty caramel accents. Interesting beer.
