Dec 27, 2009 Bottle (70°)… Cloudy golden/amber lager with a small, short-lived, white head. The aroma is a warm marriage of toffee and honey overshadowing lesser notes of smoke and caramel. Full-bodied and creamy with kicked-back carbonation. The flavor is hearty sweet caramel, but nicely balanced by crisp, clean hops. Finishes caramely, but not overly sweet.

Dec 14, 2009 Pours cloudy amber with a toffee aroma and a decent beige head. There is a sweet malt flavor with a bit of wheat and yeast sourness. Pretty tasty.

Dec 8, 2009 Nice one liter swing top, that i picked up at the Gardiner Montana grocery, of all places. Pours a golden amber, with a good tan head. Very complex yet smooth weizenbock, with notes of fruit and a little cloves. Very drinkable and a tad bit sweet. Thumbs way up on this one.

Dec 1, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a very large beige head that slowly fades. Taste is of fruit, banana, raisin, wheat, yeast and spice. Similar aroma. Very easy to drink. The alcohol is hidden well. A very nice beer and is rather enjoyable to drink. Worth picking up again.

Nov 25, 2009 Sampled on 10/23/2009. This weizenbock pours a medium brown copper color from a 1-liter swingtop bottle. Medium sized tannish colored head. The aroma is brown sugar, banana and clove, fairly sweet. A medium bodied weizenbock. The malts are fruity and sweet, lots of brown sugar, banana and clove flavors. The hops are earthy. Nice balance. Good carbonation. A nice, if somewhat sweet, weizenbock. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Nov 23, 2009 Bottle: Pours a hazy amber color with a nice tan head. the nose is malty with rich caramel and sweet plum, a decent heat and alcohol note in the nose as well. The flavor has a nice chewy body with some ripe esters and yeasty fruit notes. Ample body and a nice finish. A little hot, but still has a nice quaffability and body. Yum.
