Bottle. Pours a clear deep copper color with sediment throughout, and a monstrous light mocha head which tests the limits of surface tension as it pushes up high above the glass. Ample lacing. Rich resin filled hops would comprise the entirety of the aroma were it not for a rich toasty caramel note hiding in the background. Bitter flavor right up at the front of a medium mouthfeel with just a hint of sweetness in the middle. The finish rather creeps up on you with a slow subtle grapefruit note. I don’t get much sweetness in here to balance out the hops, but personally, that’s not something I mind.

Pint glass from bottle. Pours a red caramel color with a fluffy soapy head. Crisp fresh hop aroma, some citrus, warm and rich. Dull blunted hop bitterness on taste, grassy hops, toasty bitterness.

12oz from the bottle at Bartzilla’s house. Hoppy nose, with a touch of malt. Decent hopped up taste.

Bottle from Beers of the World in Rochester NY. Nice hop character for an Amber Ale. Caramel malty after taste though. A very smooth red/amber ale with a nice hop presence.

Dark brown color with a quickly dissipating tan head. Big hop character for this amber ale. Add some hops to your typical amber characteristics of caramel a little nuttiness and some red fruit and you get this beer. Grassy aroma and you are reminded of the hops again on the bitter metallic finish. Interesting flavor profile for sure.
