bu11zeye (4066), Frisco, Texas, USA Oct 16, 2008 (Draught, labeled Sassion) Pours a hazy yellow body with small white head. Aroma of yeast, clove, lemon, and apple. Flavor of lemon, clove, ginger, and light grass. PilsnerPeter (1723), Flushing, New York, USA Oct 13, 2008 G.A.B.F. 2008: (Labeled as Sassion) Hazy light golden pour. The aroma has some soft yeast notes, with apple crisp and soft citrus. Soft and fluffy on the palate. The flavor has some light sweet esters/yeasty, mildly tart lemon notes as well. Fairly clean finish with just a touch of yeast. Pretty nice. phishpond417 (1542), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Sep 20, 2008 Sampled on draught at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy bright yellow colour. Aroma is of lemons honey and flowers. Taste is wheaty and tart, slighty citrusy sourness. Otherwise nice beer. JK (2520), uptown, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Sep 13, 2008 Corn. There shouldn’t be corn flavor in a saison. A little sour, some wild yeast. This beer is all over the place. I love the style but this recipe needs refinement. mrm1021 (19), Naperville, Illinois, USA Sep 3, 2008 Draft pour from the brewpub. Hazy yellow appearance with fast dissapating head. Yeast, and malt aroma. Definite sweet honey and citrus flavor with a tart/bitter finish. A decent Saison.
