Soy sauce and plum/melon aroma. Clear water appearance with just a tint of yellow. Initial flavor a light melon followed by a dry soy sauce flavor. Tasty and quite enjoyable.

This is your textbook Honjozo Sake. Hakkaisan sakes are always clean and crisp. Very Niigata, very good. The slight fortification brings out great balance in this well crafted sake.

Transperant. Plummy aromas. Smooth and fruity without too much complexity. Still some yeastiness and noticeable alcohol. Light-bodied and grainy texture. Enjoyable.
