Jun 13, 2009 On nitro at Hale’s. Pours dark brown with a nice creamy tan head. Roasty malts and coffee with a nice swelling bitter smoky coffee finish.

Dec 27, 2008 Dark brown with medium light tan head. Aroma like a Starbucks. Tastes of bitter chocolate and roasted coffee, but very thin body. No finish to speak of.

Dec 17, 2008 Nitro at TFD Boise. Dark brown pour with a thick, creamy brown head. Light aroma of roast and a faint sweetness. Tastes more roasty than anything, a little chocolate and some bittersweetness. Not bad.

Sep 25, 2008 Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a black color with a longlasting creamy tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Has a roasted malty chocolate flavor with some nutty hints. Roasted malty chocolate finish.

Jun 9, 2008 On tap at Produce Row in Portland--A deep black-brown creamy body with a thick pluming head of whiteness. Soft, fluffy mouthfeel with a nutty, roasty, chalky, smooth malt body. A bitter, off-finishing palate feel that was good but not quite perfect. Still, quite injestable.
