Appearance is hazy copper with a very good off-white head. Flavor is sweet malt forward, with peppery moderate bittering. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a moderate carb texture. Overall, simple, but quite drinkable.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 19, 2008 Mostly clear dark orange, big white head that lingered throughout the entire pint. Sweet, yeasty aroma with a faint citrus scent. Tangy hop bite, remains quite bitter throughout. Fruity, yeasty esters are present. Tastes like a British ale yeast is used, but the hop bitterness seems to overwhelm the fruity malt characteristics. It seems like this beer is not sure if it wants to be an ESB or an American Pale Ale. BuckeyeBoy (1672), Boise, Idaho, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 9, 2007 Draft: Orange pour with a nice sized white head and good lacing. Aroma is of citrus hops with a hint of florals. Taste is a sweet citrus hop up front with smooth malts into a nice tart/crisp finish. A very nice pale ale. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 19, 2006 On Tap: This pours a clear, metallic goldenrod (thanks Nate at nathanlogan.com for the description :) with a white head. The aromas were spicy and hoppy. The hop presence seemed to sweet in a flowery, highly-perfumed soapy kind of way. It has a slight wheaty aftertaste. But overall, I thought it was too sweet for a pale ale. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 12, 2005 A very good EPA brewed in Idaho. Amber color, tan head. Caramel and bread crust flavors... nutty nose of bread and milky yeast. Oily texture, with a little butter in the finish. Spicy caramel at times as well. ontario102 (794), Boise, Idaho, USA

I’ll drink this again. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA

Not incredibly hoppy, which I did not expect it to be, slightly malty and uncharteristic, nothing really stood out when I sampled this one. Nice head and nice lacing, very, very dry, but still quite tasty.
