Cask at the Magpie & Crown, Brentford, 2nd Aug 2008 with tashi. Slightly hazy dark amber with a malty, almost cake-like aroma. Let down by a poor flavour - somewhat sour and reminds me of cleaning fluid. Palate is a bit thin but redeemed by a decent aftertaste that is better than the main taste!

Cask &#40;The Village Inn, Rayners Lane&#41;<br /> Orangy brown, small head. Light fruity aroma. Some slight black tea too. Taste is also very fruity, a decent hoppy component. Bitter, and sticks to the tongue for a long finish. Solid bitter, refreshing and flavoursome.

Cask at the Anglesea Arms, London, SW7. Nice pub in Selwood Terrace, South Kensington. Amber with a small white head. grassy hop aroma. Fruity pear taste, pleasantly sour. Grass and tea in the hop finish. Pretty good, if served a bit too cold.

Cask&#64;GBBF2007. Deep golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is nectar, very wooden and has some slight honeyishness in it also. Flavour is honey, fruits, hops, earth and quite much wood. Really wellbalanced and pleasant brew with dry bitter hoppy finish.
