Beer2000 (1396), Kristiansand, Norway Jan 3, 2009 Bottled @ EBF 2008. Dark, reddish brown body with a medium beige head. Aroma is medium smoked and vague malty. Flavor is mild malty with a balanced level of smoke. Rather nice and pleasant, as I enjoy a smoked beer, but not to heavy. Bragesnak (1526), Aarhus, Denmark Nov 29, 2008 From Voldby, DK.

Dark brown with beige head. Aroma of smoke and roasted malt. Flavor is caramel, chocolate and smoke Grovlam (3420), Copenhagen, Denmark Nov 29, 2008 50 cl. Bottle. Large off-white creamy head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Cloudy dark brown color. Aroma of smoke, toasted malt, liquorish, bacon. Over the palate came sweet roasted malt and it’s almost like drinking smoked liquid liquorish. Very nice. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated sweet flavor with light counter bitterness. Lingering roasted smoke liquorish finish. Jukkabro (2493), Tampere, Finland Nov 28, 2008 Black-red murky colored with little light brown head. Strongly roasted aroma with sweet chocolate with vegetable also present. Medium bodied. Flavor is also roasted with caramel and berries also present, not too much smoke here. Aftertaste is sweet still, caramel dominates here. Slightly one dimensional brew.
