Solid, off-white foam stand that left spotty lacing on the glass. Nice, deep ruby-brown body. Firm malty aroma, tolerable sweet. Medium roasted and mid-sweet dark malts in flavour with rounded bitterness in the aftermath. Aroma is fairly sour, some berrylike sourness, roasted and burnt notes, dry cocoa. Flavour is roasted, cocoa, coffee, a bit ashy, a bit sour. Too thin, to uneventful, but easy drinkin’ I guess.
