500 ml bottle - thanks clint!! pours clear copper with foamy white head; aromas are grainy, malty with sugar and lemons mixed in; caramel and mild fruit comes out in the flavors; thin texture but quite smooth and refreshing; flavor is quite light overall

500ml from clint. Bitter, caramel sweet, grassy, nice nose. Earthy and bready, nice carbonation going on. I’m in by no way a super fan or an expert of ESBs, but I dig this one. Could use a bit more body.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A and Papsoe! Hazy amber color. Sweet toasty and biscuity aroma with hint of roasted malt. Sweetish toasty, berryish and nutty flavor with licorice with some roasty charcoal (or burnt grass) which seems to be out of place.

500ml bottle, brygg 918, brought back to my hotel room from Fenaknoken. Poured a golden-amber body with a slowly fading off-white head. Display of lacework on the glass. Smell of sweet malts and fruity hops. The flavour starts with rather keen notes of honey-layered hops followed by semi-sweet malts. Rather short lived bitter aftertaste, but fresh and clean in the mouth (Oslo, 18.08.2009).

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Hazy orangey golden with a dense off-white head. Fresh and fruity nose with some yeast. Medium body, fruit, yeast and a fairly hoppy finish. 130809

Coppery colored with little vanishing yellow head. Hopped and caramelly aroma with sugary and licoricy notes, some berries also here. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is dry with caramel also, some burnt tone also here. Aftertaste dries even more with soapy and soft palate. Not basically ESB, still ok brew with some handmade touch.

Bottle at Papsø. Hazy amber coloured with a huge off white head. Fruity aroma of caramel, berries and liquorice. Fruity flavour of caramel, berries, bread, grass and hops. Hoppy finish.
