Bottle, 33 cl. Blonde beer with medium white head. Aroma of malts, also light sweet and some spices. Medium body, malty taste, light sweet, some spices included giving the beer a bit sharpness and also a light hoppy taste in it. Much better than the Kasteelbier Donker: more pallet and very well balanced. Nice tripel.

750ml bottle. Poured slightly cloudy light golden color with a huge bubbly white head. The nose has notes of sweet toasted malts, citric fruits, clove, yeast, and some alcohol. Has a sweet and caramel malty flavor with a bit of spice and fruit, the taste of alcohol is slightly noticeable. Has a crisp, medium to full bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Very easy to drink.

Bottled. Pours golden yellow with a moderate white head. Smells of floral hops with cereal and spruce. A medium sweet light bodied smooth with long citus and piney/spruce flavors. I am a fan.

11% gold with a good head, the aroma is sweet alcohol and fruitcake, taste is sweet fruits, I like this beer very much but only drink it occasionally, a bit too strong for everyday use.

Nice looking orange-blond beer with nice white head on top. Aroma has hints of cereals, honey, fruits and herbal hops. Taste is rich, warm sweet, fruity, slight spicey and has a nice bittering in the end, Hot finale too.

750 ml bottle, 2005 sampled November 2009.

What a glorious surprise. Relatively dry for the style, almost champagne-like, the hops having aged wonderfully, just a hint of sourness. Much better than my memories of it fresh (I didn’t rate that time), I’m surprised at just how much this improved from its time in the cellar. Superb mouthfeel, perfectly carbonated and with the alcohol totally mellowed and integrated.

At an café in valkenburg limburg last summer forget to rate, bottle 330ml hazy golden, huge head, very overwalmig one with some hints of grain and citrus fruits, but most like an malt liquor.
