jbrus (4350), Delft, Netherlands Aug 26, 2008 Tap@Brewpub. Very spicy aroma, allspice and clove mainly. Cloudy, yellow color, off-white head, good lace. Sweet, malty, clove, hints of licorice, average body. Flavorful, well spiced but not overwhelming. jerohen (1508), Bussum, Netherlands Mar 21, 2008 Thanks mom for providing this rare beer. Hazy orange coloured, dying head (lots of yeast at the bottom of the bottle). Malty nose with strong bay flavoured liquorice, some undefined spices. Flavour again predominantly bay flavoured liquorice, really strong. Dry and bitter finish. Technically well brewed, but the flavour is just not my style. imdownthepub (4312), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Aug 10, 2007 Keg on tap at L’Estaminet, Verdun, France. Amber with white head. Seemingly lightly spiced in flavour with a refreshing fresh quality rather than the heavier spiced beers. Light, dry and bitter a really pleasant kegged beer enjoyed in the Verdun sunshine.
