Commercial Description:
Amber coloured, fine sparkle and delicate and thick head. Pleasant mixture of the aroma of hops and a slight hint of liquorice. Pronounced bitterness, mellow and thirst-quenching.

Bottle at In de Wildeman. Clear, deep amber with a huge off-white head. Fruity aroma. Spiced and fruity flavours, quite complex, ending semi-dry. A decent Belgian amber.

Bottle @ De Zotte. Amber coloured, big white head. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, some spice. Flavour is very sweet, malty, some roasted malts (gave me an ashtray sensation),a bit metallic. Didn’t like it.

Pleasant mellow aroma of caramel malt and hint of apple. Creamy off-white head, mostly lasting, good lacing, dark amber hue. Balanced flavour with clean bitter malt finish. Medium-full body with creamy texture, slight chalky feel at finish. Attractive in a glass, full flavoured, good with a meal.
