Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a malty caramel and a slightly chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty caramel finish.

tap. sampler from Laurelwood Public House in Portland. from my notes: smooth and drinkable brown. thinnish texture. lighter on the sugar than most (which, for me, is a good thing in a brown). so, pretty good by my tastes.

Fairly nutty I thought, but full sweet taste. Slight bitter finish, otherwise very smooth and refreshing.

Draught. Poured brown with thin white head. Malty aroma with caramel. Malty flavour with caramel. Lasting bitter toffee finish

Draft. A hazy red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet matly combined with notes of fruit. The flavor is sweet and very malty combined with notes of caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish with light notes of toffee.
