SeanMacGC (102), Dublin, Ireland Nov 18, 2008 Bottle, 33cl. Pours translucent dark mahogany, with short-lived off-white head, some lacing. Cherry, malt and yeast on the nose, and very sweet on the palate, too sweet in fact. A shadow of a beer in comparison to a genuine secondarily fermented beer, and added sugar is no substitute.
Pinball (817), Allerød, Denmark Oct 24, 2008 bottle at home,

Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a darkish red/brown. Aromas of spice, coriander, yeast, and alcohol. Flavor has an alcohol taste to it, mixed with a nice smokey dark fruit. Also has strong hints of spice and orange. daknole (1131), Plantation, Florida, USA Sep 26, 2008 Bottle from belgianbeergal. Pours a reddish color with lots of floaters. Aroma is sweet and fruity. The flavor just doesnt live up to its aroma. The flavor is just a tad to weak. Malt, dried fruit, vanilla, spices. Not bad, but underwhelming. Oh well. plovmand (776), Helsinge, Denmark Sep 14, 2008 Bottle. Reddish brown colour with a medium beige head. Spicy and malty aroma. Falvour is fruity with caramel, spices and sweet malt. Smooth body.
