Dry-sweetish mealy grassy fruity taste, quite harmonic, with straw notes. Sharpish mouthfeel. Lightish, clean palate. Dry grassy straw aftertaste. Quite nice, but not major. (0.1l taster at the brewpub.) DSG (997), Yuvalim, Israel Aug 8, 2008 (6/20/08) Draught at the brewpub in Berlin. Slightly hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma of hops, some grass and notes of grainy malt. Flavor begins sweetish with caramel hints and continues bitter and hoppy. Medium-bodied. A good refreshing Pils. bp (340), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 26, 2008 Draft at the brewpub: golden color, grainy aroma, crisp, clean and refreshing. This was easily the best pilsner I had while in Berlin and it was also the best of the four beers on draft at the brewpub. yespr (7787), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 14, 2008 From tap at the brewpub, Louisen Bräu, Charlottenburg. Hazy yellow to orange with a lacing white head. Sweet malty and slight cornish aroma. Flavour is mild sweet and light spiced. Nice hoppy fruity finish coming through.
