TeamTrappist (206), jericho, New York, USA Dec 3, 2008 Bottle. Poured dark and syrupy. Nose had lots of grapes and was definitely sour.Light carbonation. Tart and sweet, with a wine like feel to it. Finish was sweet than slightly bitter. Interesting, glad I tried it. aplusbreaks (129), , Colorado, USA Nov 21, 2008 375ml pours a murky brown with lots of sediment floatng around. It actually looks like a cascading beer. Aromas of mainly acidic citrus, sour and tart. Flavors are at first tart, then smooth off into an easy drinking acidic brown ale. This stuff is delicious. cellar (410), Dublin, Ireland Nov 17, 2008 At Barrys Abbot Ale House Pub, where else in Ireland would you get this? Hazy reddish brown with tiny head. Strong fruity malty aroma of earth, sour berries and some wood and spices develops in mouth. Flavour is sweet and sour. mostly sour finish. bchlala (41), Denmark Nov 1, 2008 I tasted this beer before I got my account with ratebeer, so I can’t really remember all the flavors. norsedoc (157), USA Oct 29, 2008 Pours brown with little head.
