Commercial Description:
Is a golden-colored brew that balances a pleasant hoppiness with its smooth malt flavor. It finishes dry with a moderate bitterness

(draft @ Alamo Drafthouse Ritz, Austin, TX): Pours a clear yellow body, white head, lastingish. Some aroma but not much. Some grain maybe, hard to tell. Bitter, some malt, watery.

(On tap) Tastes extremely atypical for a Pilsener. Clear, light, refreshing, and fairly hoppy, but the character of the hops is very different from what I’d expect from this style, and in my opinion, falls short of even the mainstream German and Czech Pilseners. But...besides this, this was a decent beer.

Draft at The Dig Pub, Cedar Park TX. Pours very clear, golden, effervescent. Nose is full of malt and bitterness. Taste is bitter, malty, rich, a bit thick for a pils. Full aftertaste that sticks to the tongue and palate. A very nice refreshing beer and well done.

(On draft at Opal Devine’s in Austin on August 22, 2008) No head on this clear pint. No carbonation. Aroma is sweet, pilsy. Flavor is tangy. Typical plis qualities, though. Honestly, a little watery. Soft… nice strength… yet flat. The under-edges of my tongue are swelling and watery. Must be bitter. Huh. Overall, too floral for my taste.

Draft @ Brickskeller. Clear gold, creamy white head. Aroma held notes of grassy toasted grains with an underlying wet hay and apple tone. Nutty earth and grassy flavors round to a faint bitter ending. Light bodied with light carbonation throughout. A poor excuse for a Pils...
