nbutler11 (305), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Dec 3, 2008 Pours a light golden color from the tap at the brewery. Overwrought with black pepper on the nose and a bit flat to me. Probably my least favorite offering from The Livery. marcus (1118), Sacramento, California, USA Sep 22, 2008 On tap at the brewery. This hazy golden beer poured from a hand pull tap with a few white bubbles on top. It starts off chalky and bitter and finishes with malt sweetness. kmweaver (2273), Nicaragua Sep 19, 2008 Handpull @ the Livery. Pours a hazy, golden-orange color; minimal head formation. Solid of amounts of very soft, floral and citrus hop presence in the aroma; very resiny and soft, like dripping hop plants. Slight carbonation. Medium mouthfeel: chewy earthy and floral hop character upfront; again, very resiny and soft, but a touch under-concentrated and on the sweet side overall; I’d prefer to have tried this on CO2 instead; the light bubbles doesn’t add much here. Medium finish: earthy and citrus hops, very resiny, basic malt; definitely a soft English bitter character throughout. Tmoney99 (3740), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Sep 12, 2008 Draft at The Livery. Poured a cloudy amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate yeasty sour hoppy aroma. Medium body. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a drinkable brew. Glouglouburp (2114), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Jun 6, 2008 In short: A bland lifeless blonde ale calling itself an IPA
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Cloudy golden blonde body with a small white head.
In long: Shy nose. Body is disappointingly watery. Dead carbonation and lifeless mouthfeel. Overall sensation of old peach and citrus fruits juice with a few bubbles here and there. Not an IPA but any stretch of the imagination. Ok so chicks know as much about hops as they do about auto-mechanics.
