jimmay (47), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Dec 12, 2008 On tap, and in Growler, from brewery. Orange/gold in colour, head dissipating quickly. A bit sweet, malty. Bit of an alcohol aroma. Enjoyed it, have another Growler in the fridge for tomorrow! tomthompson89 (1245), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 28, 2008 had on tap at Cock and tail, nice color and lacing, odd flavor and finish very metalic???/ DerWeg (457), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 9, 2008 Quaff at the pub. Respectably solid malty-feeling body, Aroma slightlyyeasty a bit sweet-malty and there is a trace hops. A little spicy and fruity, warming alcohol, small bitter hop finish. Noticeable raw grainy or wort-like quality, and there’s not much complexity. A few gulps in this Bock is two-dimensional & not really differentiated from many MS beers. Beershine (1526), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Sep 18, 2008 Updated: Oct 2, 2008At brewpub. Clear red, off-white head, gorgeous lace. Liquid bread aromas. Some apples and strawberries. Clean, quaffable, low carbonation. Solid malts but and bread crusts eliminate sugars. Fruity, nice degree of complexity. Strength noticeable but has no offensive alcohol overtones. No harshness and very smooth. Good pocket of bockness. PaulHegedus (188), Brampton, Ontario, Canada Sep 4, 2008 Draught at Mill Street Brewpub, June 2008. This one’s golden orange in the glass, with bready aromas, caramel. I taste caramel with interesting subtle grassiness.
