Mongozo Coconut, yes as the name reveals, it was a lot of coconut in both the aroma and flavor. Fluid did not look like beer, nah rather greyish milk or something like that.
Very sweet with an artificial taste of coconut. Soft drink can of course be good to drink sometimes. Skinnyviking (4171), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 25, 2009 Bottle. High creamy and lasting white head. Thick looking milky light yellow body. Mild and sweet coconut aroma with a herbal note that I guiss is the quinua. Very sweet coconot quinua flavor with a light lemon touch. Quite refreshing but unfortunately also quite artificial. Low carbonation. Long aftertaste. Beerlando (2348), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Sep 22, 2009 For some reason, I was magnetically drawn to this novelty brew, compelled to try it even though I was certain it would be vile. The pour yields a creamy looking, cloudy yellowish-white hue with a solid, steady head of snow white foam. Patchy sheets and jagged, vertical flares of lace mark the glass. The aroma is like coconut candy, with a bold blast of artificial coconut and notes of cream and powdered sugar. There’s not a hop to be found on the nose. The flavor is a mirror image, insanely sweet and candy-like, with sugary coconut syrup dominating. In fact, that’s pretty much all I get out of it. The body is light and creamy, almost "fluffy", yet manages to drink heavier than it should with all the sugar. As expected, this was gimmicky and disgustingly sweet. Horrible beer. Very sweet with lots of sugar, lot of coconut and well... not much else. Cloyingly sweet, as always from Huyghe but at least this would probably work well to cook Thai food with. Totally un-beery, but lot offputting. BoBoChamp (1406), Gent, Belgium
