| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 27, 2009 Amber pour, thin off-white head, aroma mostly of cooked corn. Flavor is built around a fairly vegetal backbone, with a slight hops bitterness and some resinous tea and nut character adding complexity. Medium body, dry palate. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Dec 2, 2009 Bottle at Mexican restaurant in T.O. Probably the best mexican beer I’ve tried to date, but still nothing to get excited about. Pours amber with no head. aroma is sweet with citrus of orange and spices. Medium carbonation and generally bland. 502Flavors (631), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Nov 27, 2009 Not the worst pale lager I have ever had, but certainly not a great beer. Smooth and easy going, but very boring and uninteresting. Though its better than bud and coors (etc.), its not so much superior that its worthy of the price differential. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 26, 2009 Drank it in a small, but very good restaurant in Antigua Guatemala. I would say one of the best beers brewed between Mexico and Colombia. Dispite its dark appearance, it is light bodied, balanced with a slight sweetness from the Malt- junon (222), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 26, 2009 Nose is very tight. To the point that I can not anything out. I am unfamiliar with the "Vienna" style but just tasting this I would of thought it was a odd ball porter. There is a bit of caramel but maybe not so much roasted flavours. Its an ok beer. Note: Made Beer Bread with this beer.
