| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 30, 2009 Bottle, at Cardinal. It pours a clear, dark golden body under a small beige head. Malty nose with some fruityness. Mostly bread and caramel though. Sweet, caramel flavor with citrus and fruits. Pinecones and citrus in the finish, with a nice bitterness. Medium to full body. A quite boring beer, completely lacking the Christmas feeling. Sure drinkable though. (081130) jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA

Aroma of fresh hops and a bunch of malt - nice. Medium-bodied; Assertive hops and a lighter malt coming through light fruits and a bit of nuts. Aftertaste is mild - not much coming through. Overall, a good beer - not amazing, but nice to try! I sampled this beer on cask at The Market Porter in Borough, London, England on 13-December-2008. Rune (2848), Tromsų, Norway

A welcoming bitter in the evening after all the Yuletide sweetness [Tromsų, 28.12.2008]. OleR (2106), Oslo, Norway
